JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Haul away all concrete & debris as needed to install the proper base.

WALKS & PATIOS

  • 5 to 6″ of Class 5 Base and Compact
  • One inch of sand
  • Install Pavers
  • Pack pavers with tamper
  • Snap Edge on sides, stake every 2 ft.
  • Concrete Base 4″ with steel rods
  • Brick soldier course on edges

DRIVEWAYS

  • 9 to 10″ of Class 5 Base & Compact
  • One inch of sand
  • Pack pavers with tamper
  • Snap Edge on sides, stake every 2 ft.
  • Concrete Base 5″ with steel rods
  • Brick soldier course on edges

STEPS

  • Use old steps or porch
  • New concrete steps of porch with rods
  • Glue pavers to tops of steps only
  • Glue pavers to face & top of steps or porch
  • Use PL 400 for glue

All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a workmanlike manner according to standard practices. Any alterations from the above specifications involving extra cost, will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. All agreements contingent upon strikes, accidents or delays beyond our control. Crosstown Concrete & Brick, Inc. has the right to file for Lien rights against the property worked at, to collect any moneys not paid. Warranty will be void for any balance not paid. Owner to carry fire, windstorm, hail and other necessary insurance.

  • Bid may be withdrawn if not accepted in 60 days.
  • 10% down and balance on completion of work.
  • Workers are covered by Workman’s Compensation.
  • We are licensed, bonded and insured.

Warranty does not cover any peeling from chemical or deicer use. Must be notified within 60 days of any peeling. All concrete exposed to chemicals & deicers should be sealed every 3 years. NEW concrete should NOT be exposed to deicer chemicals for 2 years. Use sand. Rock pops are not peeling.
